Craig A. Knecht

Craig is an accomplished security professional with over 25 years of contract security experience with both national and regional companies. His extensive knowledge of operations and their related financial performance has been beneficial when designing custom security programs for a broad spectrum of clients, from commercial real estate to petrochemical.

I have known Craig since 2004 and recognized his professionalism as a strong competitor in our industry. He is joining United Protective to strengthen our partnership approach of business development in various vertical markets. His experience and leadership abilities will be utilized to lead our sales team to continue our rapid growth and expansion efforts

His introduction to the security industry came as a Sales Representative for a national provider in Dallas, TX. His success in this role led to an opportunity in operations where he excelled and eventually was named Vice President, leading the Central Region of the United States. Throughout this time, he has remained engaged in the sales efforts, leading and mentoring his sales teams over all markets. Craig says the ability to be creative and to solve problems is what he enjoys most about sales. He also passes along to his sales team advice he was given years ago, ‘personnel integrity and business ethics will be the key to their long-term success!’
